Vale Paul Taylor

Farewell to a generous man of knowledge, wisdom and inspiration

It is with deep sadness that we wish to inform friends and colleagues of the passing of Paul Taylor. He passed peacefully from this world in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia, at 1.45pm AEST, on the 23rd of June 2019.

Paul, a third generation organic farmer, had extensive experience in teaching and implementing permaculture and sustainable soil management projects throughout the world. The knowledge, wisdom, inspiration and experience he generously shared will never be forgotten.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Paul’s family and close friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult grieving period.

Shown above is Paul at his fantastic Hidden Garden project on Christmas Island developed to feed refugees. It was his pride and joy to have designed and implemented such an amazing project.

A celebration of life event is planned for the coming week.

  1. So sad to here that Paul has passed! I have some great videos of him at the kul kul farm in Bali having a compost party. Would love to share with his lived ones.

  2. Paul was my second brother, and I just learned today (April 5 2020) that he passed away last June. I always sent an email on his birthday which he would lovingly respond to , but not much other communication. No response from the last one in Dec 2019 so I wondered if he had passed…. I have sweet memories of him in his coat and little aviator cap lugging buckets of milk to feed the calves in the barn. God bless him. Alice Taylor Sharrock
