This Saturday we’re joining concerned citizens all over the world who are coming together to take a stand against fracking. Will you join us?

As you know, fracking is an ongoing disaster for communities around the U.S.A. and increasingly around the world. But that hasn’t stopped the fossil fuel industry — they’re on the march, working tirelessly to buy off politicians and dig up every last bit of oil and gas they can find.

That’s why we’re taking part in the Global Frackdown on October 11th, to shine a light on this dirty and dangerous industry and help put a stop to it.

Who: Everybody!
What: An international day of protests against fracking
When: Saturday, October 11th
Where: All around the world! If you don’t see an event near you, host your own.

Already, the movement to ban fracking has made incredible strides. Since the first Global Frackdown there have been hundreds of measures against fracking in the U.S. and abroad, with many more yet to come. This wouldn’t have happened without the groundswell of public opposition that has stood in the way of the fracking industry’s advance.

Fighting massive well-financed corporations isn’t easy, but the people power rising up to meet that challenge is truly incredible — we saw that last month at the People’s Climate March. This weekend is another important moment to stand together as a global community and make our voices heard.

Join us in telling the fossil fuel industry: Frack No!
