  1. That is just fantastic on so many levels. Wow! I just love the simplicity, beauty and functionality of lost or forgotten methods of doing almost anything we now use expensive and complicated technology to achieve.

  2. Nice… I came across this type of building recently as well, but forget where.
    The thought that often crosses my mind in this regard is how sometimes building/zoning laws/codes can make much, if not most, self-made, traditional, experimental and/or alternative, etc. housing prohibitive.
