  1. Wow! What more evidence do we need that Nature (God; Divinity…..) can and will provide us with all we need to undo the damage we have done to ouer beautiful home if we a simply willing to watch and listen to her. I hope and pray that more of us will open ourselves to the possibilities awaiting us. Thank you with all of my heart for sharing this video with us! Share it with every one you know and, perhaps, there will be more scientists, shamans, mystics and people with heart who will discover even more cures for our ailing planet and its inhabitants.

  2. G’day Warren… I am one of those people who can’t get their head around the idea that our planet just happened to spontaneously form out of the void/matter of the universe. The more I explore the world in which we live, the more I am convinced that an intelligent design process has been at work. “Creation” is one word I use to describe the natural world we inhabit simply because it reflects something of my world view. I see that there are systems and processes that have been designed into the way our world functions and our ecosystems tend to follow these patterns in order. For me, Permaculture is the study and practice of these design principles as applied to human habitat and agriculture. The more closely we employ them and other eco-friendly technologies to our way of life, the more regenerative an impact we will have on our planetary home. Trust this helps explain where I am coming from…

  3. Awesome video. No wonder fungal dominated systems such as the woody mulch / deep litter system in the chook run work so well. I’ve been planting directly into woody mulch for a few years now and most of the plants do really well.

Shame I don’t know whether the various mushrooms about the place are edible or not. Most information on mushrooms is either European or American (as distinct from Australian) and people generally only collect edible wild mushrooms from pine forests.

  4. Hi there Chris… Good to know you are having success with the woody mulch.

My reading would indicate (correct me if I am wrong) that there are common species found here in Australia also. I think I remember Paul mentioning in a talk (maybe the video above or his website https://www.fungi.com) a fungi that is found in the Australian bush that he was familiar with.

A quick “google” found this info that might be helpful in determining what is edible here. (https://fungimap.org.au/index.php/learn-about-fungi/poisonous-fungi)

Also, you may like to contact the guys at https://www.fungi.net.au who will have some info for you…
