The Vegetable Garden

We have had a number of requests for an open garden day recently. We have been able to organise an Open Garden Day with Permaculture Noosa, so that people can come and have a look at the property and what we are doing here.

Tom will take everyone on a tour around the property and show everyone food forests, animal systems, vegetable gardens, swales, wood fired heating systems, compost areas and other systems.

He will explain how systems interconnect and how we are striving to become a closed cycle property (no outgoing or incoming materials). He will also answer people’s questions about courses we teach here and other questions they may have.

The open day is on Sunday 30 September and is from 10am until 12noon. Morning tea is provided and a gold coin donation for Permaculture Noosa would be appreciated upon entry. We look forward to seeing you then!
