  1. I can’t fast forward through this video. I just wasted 10 minutes trying to figure out why Vimeo lacks this basic ability. Something about HTML5 vs Flash and then which browser you have. Won’t work for me in Firefox or IE8. This is a deal breaker for me.

  2. I wish you guys would stop using vimeo. The player is not user friendly to mobile users and will stop loading the video after a few minutes.

  3. Please do issue this video in a format that doesn’t use Flash. Flash is not supported by Apple or by any computer without an Intel Chip. That’s a lot of computers around the world.

I am using a MacG4 Powerbook laptop with extra memory. it plays all of YouTube, MIT videos & Swedish TV perfectly – but not Vimeo. This video just froze my computer & I had to reboot.

I am longing to see this video! :-)

  4. I am so happy to hear that it is not just me having problems with Vimeo. I have never had any success watching videos on Vimeo. Too bad, as I would really love to see this video from Doug:(

  5. Hi Craig,

This video is genius! 10/10. Thanks and please link to future videos from Doug Wetherbee.

    Hi everyone,

How about using a download manager if you have an intermittent internet connect?

    Regards

    Chris

  6. Hi everyone, I’m sorry you’ve had trouble with Vimeo. The reason I don’t use YouTube for longer videos is their 15 minute limit. I know it’s possible to have it removed but for some reason YouTube has never done so on my accounts even though I’ve requested. I’ll try again in a couple of months. Sorry but i can’t right now because I’m leaving for Canada to teach several workshops. I’ll also be uploading another video then about the recent paradym change in sci lit on how long term carbon is created in soils. Again, sorry about the Vimeo problem. I’ll hopefully have a solution mid summer after I return home.

  7. I’m lucky enough to have no worries with vimeo.Superb video – brings the theory alive excellently.

  8. No problems with Vimeo here :P

Excellent video, so glad to have come across it. Biology rocks, big time!
