The International Permaculture Conference and Convergence (IPC10) – Only Three Weeks Left for Early Bird Discount!
The world’s premier permaculture gathering begins in September this year. The International Permaculture Conference and Convergence is held every two years on a different continent. This time around, it’s Jordan’s turn. Jordan is home of the original, and sequel, ‘Greening the Desert‘ sites.
I thought I’d better remind you that the May 15 deadline for the early bird discount is only a few short weeks away. Book and pay for your attendance on or before this date, and you get 10% off the cost of attendance. You can book and pay here. If you want to check out prices before booking, you can do that here. The form will auto-calculate the cost as you choose options (see the ‘Total’ section near bottom of form after making your selections).
For your perusal — a great lineup of speakers and workshops!:
- IPC 10 Conference Timetable
- IPC 10 Convergence Timetable of Lectures, Workshops, etc. (Note: there are still a few slots open for people wanting to give talks and/or hold workshops and discussion groups — see the ‘Do you have something to share?’ section at top of the Convergence Timetable page for details on how to request a time slot). The Convergence will be held in one of the world’s most beautiful desert landscapes — the Wadi Rum desert, home of the ancient Nabataean people, who were water harvesting experts, as you’ll discover if you take the post-Convergence Petra Tour.
And don’t forget the pre-IPC Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course. This course promises to be one of the most dynamic ever! The teachers include:
- Rosemary Morrow
- Brad Lancaster
- Warren Brush
- Paul Taylor
- Geoff Lawton
- Nadia Lawton
- with special guest talks by Bill Mollison
See you there!
