  1. Why bother with dairy? Humans do not need it, it is actually unhealthy. Cow’s milk is for baby cows and no one else.

  2. Clearly you don’t drink raw milk, one of nature’s SUPER foods! To be sure, pasteurized, homogenized milk is nasty stuff.

  3. I wonder if drinking raw milk will agree with my stomach. These days I drink soy and coconut milks since I’m lactose intolerant. I sometimes drink Meyenberg’s goat’s milk as well, but for the most part I stick to vegetable milks.

  4. We are helping people with their own variations of dietary requirement, and we can’t make judgment calls of people who are vegetarian or fruitarian or gluten free; we’ve even taught people who are breatharians.

It’s not about making judgments on what you eat, it’s accepting one’s mortality and the choices we make within the permaculture ethics. We try and help everybody that we can that wants to move in a more caring and harmonious direction and helps life on earth in all its forms, and encourage tolerance for each person’s individual choice.

  5. Arian, some people have saved their lives going onto a raw milk diet. If you are lactose intolerant, it may not suit you. If you are casein intolerant, it may work for you because pasteurization destroys most of the enzymes present in raw milk (enzymes that help the milk to digest). If I may suggest to avoid un-fermented soy products (like soy milk) since they are extremely toxic. Coconut is another wonder food, especially the oil.

There are probably more diets and food allergies than religious sects in the world so it’s pretty hard to be dogmatic about diet choices except to realize the industrial food system has created many incredibly toxic substitutes to real natural food.

  6. i was bought up on a dairy farm and drank raw milk from the teat and after the cream had been separated off (it still had cream in it after)im nearly 60 and like a lot of my generation am still healthy .
nothing wrong with raw milk ,but plenty wrong will homogenised paturised old milk sold in the shops

  7. Get a container of “real” milk, and one of pasteurised/homogenised industrial milk. Leave them out on the kitchen table for 4 hours. Depending on the temperature, the “real” milk will start to curdle into a yoghurt-like substance, (still ok to consume) but the industrial milk will have begun to putrefy and will trigger a vomit reflex in anyone whom tries to consume it.

  8. Thank you for the information about backs of healthy cows and poop trajectory. Very amusing and very informative.

  9. Geoff, Have a little question in relation to the mineral mix provided to the cows as shown here and more the depth on your “Soils” documentary.
How often do you feed the mineral mix to the cows?
    Thanks :)
