Take a PDC in India with Warren Brush

Permaculture Design Course with Warren Brush of Quail Springs, in India at Satya-Jyoti farm, January 15-26th, 2009

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering a Permaculture Design Certification Course taught by Warren Brush at the Satya-Jyoti farm (about 70kms from Gurgaon), in the Alwar district of Rajasthan in Northern India this coming January. Satya-Jyoti is a unique skill-based education program that supports young women who have been abused and outcast from their families and communities and have asked us to teach a design course for their community.

To create an international exchange of dialogue and cross cultural learning, we are inviting six adventurous and heartful people from western countries to join in this permaculture class to earn their Permaculture Design Certificate alongside the people in India. Warren Brush is the co-founder of Quail Springs Learning Oasis and Permaculture Farm and the founder of True Nature Design, a Permaculture consultation firm that works in North America, Africa and other countries world-wide.

This world-recognized, 72-hour, 12 day certification course covers sustainable living systems design for all landscapes and climates – including food systems, water harvesting, waste cycling, home design, climate care and much more. The course is relevant and suitable for home-dwellers, those interested in sustenance security, gardeners, farmers, students, design professionals, entrepreneurs, business developers, and sustainability consultants. The cost will be $700 USD and will cover the course, certification, food while at the course and a campsite. (You must provide your own transportation to and from the course.)

Warren Brush

Warren Brush is a global permaculture design consultant, educator, lecturer and storyteller. He has worked for over 25 years in sustainable systems design for communities, private and public organizations, households, small holder farms, and conservation properties worldwide. He is co-founder of Quail Springs Permaculture, Regenerative Earth Enterprises, Sustainable Vocations, Wilderness Youth Project, Casitas Valley Farm and Creamery and his Permaculture design company, True Nature Design. He is also an advising founder of the Permaculture Research Institute of Kenya. He consults for the USAID’s TOPS (Technical, Operations, Performance Support) program where he trains technical field staff, for their African Food for Peace programs, in a Resilience Design Framework.
