Learn how to present and teach basic permaculture as a fascinating and interesting subject that will be of interest to wide range of people and professions and a wide range of age groups, from school children to retirees.
Requirements: To attend this course, students must have completed a PDC and provide a certificate as proof.
You will learn delivery methods for sharing permaculture philosophy and practice. You will be engaged in hands on learning experiences on the ground at the PRI's Zaytuna Farm, to prepare you for running these as lessons. You will learn how to prepare various kinds of curriculum, slideshows, as you are exposed to examples of permaculture courses taught around the world in different styles for different locations.
You will be provided variations of permaculture course notes you can use and/or adapt to your own teaching style.
Permaculture teaching text books will be available for purchase on the farm. This course will help you gain the confidence to go out and begin teaching permaculture courses - which can help you finance your permaculture ambitions whilst simultaneously helping to hasten the uptake of permaculture principles worldwide. Through this course you will also have opportunity to potentially become part of the Permaculture Research Institute teachers' network in Australia and around the world.
This course is taught under the supervision of Geoff Lawton and taught by Geoff Lawton and other PRI team members.

Pricing options
All prices are in Australian dollars. The fee for the course is $1100, including GST, meals and camping accommodation. A non-refundable $110 deposit is required at the time of the booking. The balance of $990 is due before the course start date. An early bird discount of 10% is available if the course fee is paid 42 days prior to the course start date.

The camping charge of $20 per night and the food charge of $50 per day (breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner), is included in the tuition charge.
